Selecting a View

The contents of the service pane (right pane) depend on the nature of the service selected. Some of the service panes in CygNet Explorer have multiple views (tabbed pages). These are the ACS, DDS, GNS, MSS, and the UIS. Each service pane view is described in the table below.

Service Pane Contents and Properties Views

For each service, double-click on a record in its service pane, or right-click to access the context menu and then select Properties, to see its service record Properties (or other) dialog box.

  • View reporting FAC - Properties for <facility> Note: This feature is currently available only in 32-bit versions of the software.
  • Execute FMS command - Run FMS Command Definition (<Quick Command> only)

GNS (General Notification Service)

  • Database — All configured notifications
  • Notification Queue — Pending notification messages to be sent for the first time
  • Resend Queue — Notification messages that are marked for resend or awaiting acknowledgment
